Well, in reality we don't actually know because the truth will never be known, such was the ineptitude of the whole program.

Having said that, she clearly ruffled feathers by not backing down from her stance that they cheated and treated the players poorly.

She has admitted recently that she was wrong with JB and North.

The day she stops taking pot shots at everyone is the day she can expect the same in return. Good to see clubs have started to ban her and others from having contact with players

Imagine someone with an Essendon connection not liking her.

Is Caro a woman?

Took her about 5 years and even then she said she got it horribly wrong but would never apologise to Brayshaw

Not even talking about us but while we are at there were several lies that were proven against her.
I'm talking more about her feud with Ed and Brayshaw where she has said some pretty ordinary things and got away with it due to gender. If a male reporter said some of those things all hell would break loose

And that was said on 3AW while Caro was part of the conversation! Nothing said apart from laughs.

I think its funny that Caro continually gets under their skin so much that they feel the need to say stuff like this, Id ignore her personally and she wouldn;t get as much fanfare.

Can't comment on the 3aw stuff as I haven't seen it reported.

It's because she isn't part of the boys club. Wrote an article during the week about McGuire possibly thinking about his replacement. Probably got him pissed off

And ironically proved her right.

Picked up a 3AW call several years ago, and Tony Shaw and Robert Walls were disgusting in their treatment of Wilson. Sexist, disrespectful and bordered on bullying, I had to switch it off. Not too long after in 2011 I was at a pre-GF breakfast and Tony Shaw was speaking and continually made "jokes" about giving his missus a clip if she asked the wrong questions in terms of his gameday superstitions - But that's another matter.

I've never loved nor loathed Caro, and whilst Im sure like most journo's she makes a mix of good and bad calls, I do admire her tenacity in such a male ego driven industry.

The changerooms at Collingwood in the 1980's wouldn't have been the height of intellectual discussion though, would they?

When my editor asked me to write this column my first response was discomfort. As a busy football weekend rolls into Monday there always seem to be so many good stories to explore and, believe me, I do not relish being a part of a story like this. Again.

"Violent banter", "laced with venom", "sexist gang tackle".
Good to see she doesn't overeact to some foolish harmless banter.
Imagine if she wrote about mass murders!

Come on, mate. Glass houses and all. If there's one club's supporters who shouldn't be throwing out those sort of comments, it's Port. Have some self-awareness.

By the way, Shaw is a crumb. Rubbish coach, horrible commentator.

It's as bad as Jones' 'chaff bag' comment and after the collective national outrage got him fired, the same should apply here...

If they were friends she might have taken it as banter. As we all would.

But given McGuire and Bradshaw clearly hate her it's not really a joke anymore is it?
