So many people around me clapping when either team scored was a bit different.
Lacked any real atmosphere coz of this.
But the Blues got their 1st win so was a great day at AO.

All the more sweeter that we have their first pick too

15 premiership players in that Demons side, can't be the cattle...

Only improvement might be to spread the games to more venues not just one country, one suburban and AO. Logistically might be hard and cost will go up, but take crowd numbers out of it and play some of the lower ranked games at some SANFL grounds.

I'd say South Adelaide might be the furtherst they'd venture.
AFL still wants more people central, and the beauty of Gather Rd is the ability to attend multiple games without much fuss.. if games are starting to push out to the regions it dilutes that "atmosphere" around the CBD.
I went to Norwood Saturday though.. didn't rate it.

McLaren region is more than doable, the Southern Expressway gets you right to the doorstep. I think maybe a rotation of Barossa/Hills/Fleurieu as the regional ground each year would be a great way to showcase the city.

My lad was there working and was on the ground said the smell of alcohol was horrible and the lights not up to scratch. Parking was a major issue too
