reckon whoever offers the most from crows or power would get him given its his home state and both teams are likely to have team success

I guess that depends how you define team success. If you mean being unbeatable during the season, then come to a crushing holt as unbackable favourites in finals then yes, both Adelaide teams are successful.

Motlop would enjoy the Gold Coast better than the fishbowl here

Apparently he's choosing between 600k at Adelaide or considerably less at Port!

A few thoughts. Why the hell would anyone offer him 600k a year.
Have Adelaide been that damaged recently for players to consider less to go to Port?

$500-$600k for a lazy, unreliable footballer yet won’t offer $700-$800k for a touted future captain they rate immensely with at least a decade to play?

Tend to agree with this. Lever looks on the verge of a top career, Motlop has talent to burn but as a player is frustrating and inconsistent.

If true it's insane. Utterly insane.

I'm ok-ish with Port offering 450, but if we got rid of say... Ollie Wines... because we couldn't pay enough and then offered Motlop 600 I'd be absolutely ropeable.

MMM, Chris Ditmar, running the story that Jake Lever was the one that decided not to go to the B&F as he was driving to Victoria

Another tale out there is that the Lever C7 interview about him wanting home was done the week before the GF when BT was in town for the Adelaide/Geelong prelim.

Knowing someone at C7 I believe that is correct and thats the reason senior players didnt want him in the GF team

Love how the 2 people saying $600k + is K Cornes and M Rucci!

When was the last time the Crows leaked an offer or similar? This is manager or media driven for sure!

I will be very surprised if he doesn’t end up at Port.
