Sloane will be the next one out the door. Apparently his missus has a job with Channel7 in melbourne

His Mrs has been working in Melbourne since before he signed his last contract. Same reasons were touted for him leaving last time

Yeah but little Rory has just realised that she works in the same building as Wayne Carey and has become a bit antsy.

Does anyone know WTF we are doing with Harrison Wigg? I don't think he's contracted for 2018. Are they trying to use him in a trade or holding off delisting him?

I'll summarise

Not offered a contract
Being shopped around during trade week
If no takers, he will be delisted
Article makes it sound like he's one of the best prospects not playing AFL.

I think he is exploring his options looking for more opportunity. I like the kid, good left footer half back flank but we haven't played him in 3 years, he could get a regular game else where no doubt. Someone will pick him up as a delisted free agent.

More bullshit trying to fill papers during the AFL news drought.

He is a kid who has play no games in 3 years and they are trying to say they could trade him?

Agree, but with Smith out all next year, thought he might finally get a chance in our backline.

He's a bit Mitch Griggy. Very good player but we've got a stack of blokes his size, his position and according to those who matter, also have more ability.

Heard Justin Reid on trade radio this morning. As always didn’t give much away.

Asked if we would take 10 to the draft, he said have to wait and see how next week plays out. Sounds like it could be part of a trade.

He said he likes Francis and has had a discussion with Essendon and will have to wait and see next week.

Wheeled out the contracted, haven’t spoken to Gibbs line when asked about him.

Sounds like a fair bit to play out next week after Motlop and Watts decide where they are going.

From the language that was being spoken there is no way Cameron will be at the Crows by the end of trade week.

Francis won’t be going anywhere this year IMO.
We can’t afford to abandon him after only 2 years in the system. On current worth we would get nowhere near what we need

My thoughts...
Cameron will get to Brisbane for their lowest 1st rd pick
A lot of work will be done behind the scenes from both ADEL and CAR re. Gibbs but nothing will get done
Francis will stay at Ess
Motlop will go to Port on top dollar (well played)

I can see ADEL possibly trading some 1st rd picks for a future 1st rd pick with a club expected to be lower on the ladder next year to try and get into the top 5.

If you can get a first round pick for Cameron, that is a win for the crows. I don’t think he’s worth a first round pick

Agree, BUT we don't have much outside speed...couple that with Charlies tackling pressure and we will miss him big time.

Would you consider Milera as "outside speed"?
I really like his poise and class, think he has Pendlebury-like attributes in the way he moves and uses the footy.
