May very well be, but that doesn't make him a good ruckman does it? I mean it helps, but....

He doesn't win enough taps, get enough of the ball or advantage his midfielders.

I see Kruezer as the perfect second ruck rotating forward to be honest

All good and well if you have a first ruckman..........

You did once upon a time...Jacobs.

Don't remind me!
We had a handy small forward too at one stage.
He was pretty good yesterday.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

True

Clearly Kruezer must get votes in awards too ;)

Only thing that counts IMO is hit outs, possessions and clearances.

And the quality of those things therein. Thats what is difficult to measure, which is why you have to use some sort of anecdotal human type perception *in addition* to the raw stats.

Kruezer's quality around the ground and marking prowess is what makes him different, but he isn't up there with the elite as just a ruckman. He is more of your Roughead type IMO. Doing a solid job nonetheless.

Welcome to the SWAM brotherhood Brodlach, its growing by the day! :)

The SWARM will win out in the end.

The votes part isnt ridiculous at all Brodlach. It's a great way of measuring how the football coaching community rates each players game. The SEN Rankings aren't votes, they're scores.

Probably just one, a bit hard to compare though with 130 years of prior history.

Yes, I know it's more than 130 years but Booney mentioned his list was made in 2000.
