The Suns are playing career mode on AFL Live!

There is something they're not telling us....

Richmond delisted Townsend so they might be after him, but, really, any reason the Suns come up with will fall on deaf ears for the average punter.

They need all the help they can get, to dump a contracted bloke who is a proven ball winner is really odd.

Perhaps they've got ahead of themselves?

They'll be relocated to Tasmania within 5 years anyway.

Gee what a rise and fall for Townsend, no room for him now Lynch has arrived, thought Richmond would be able to trade him rather than delist.

Or perhaps maybe Dew has had enough of him and given him enough chances?
2 clubs have moved him on now even though he has shown he can play

No they won’t. It’s not all about results

Considering they've got salary cap issues and the bloke delivers those numbers it's hard to fathom why they'd cut him with a year to run on their contract.

Trying to get near it?

GC couldn’t have salary cap issues with all the players they’ve lost

I think it's a total knock down build.

Different to what Port and Carlton are doing.

They will draw straws, the loser gets made captain but gets to walk out at the end of the season.

He'll be that old school centreman that's massively over weight but for some reason keeps getting the ball......

Brisbane Lions has signed Jarryd Lyons on the first day of the AFL delisted player free agency period, less than 24 hours after Gold Coast delisted the midfielder.

You just described his career in a nutshell.
Played forward more than in the guts though.
