She is a known racist who deliberately removed banana from her bag and threw it at an indigenous player. A tad different to kids throwing fruit in the school yard

How did the two sides fare during those years? I think Port made the finals in 2014, but had a crapper year in 2015.
Crows I think did the opposite? Didn't they miss out altogether in 2014 and got knocked out by the Dogs in the Elimination Final 2015?
Just trying to see if there is a pattern. Maybe the novelty of the oval wore off after the first year, and fans of both clubs became more abnoxious?

Shows how advanced society is that this is the extent of our problems IMO.
Much rather be witch hunting the xenophobic fruit throwing Port fan than worrying about getting blown up, although I definitely take your point that social media literally salivates the moment any act that looks remotely racist gets caught on camera.

Don't forget that Micky has had a head injury, give him some leniency

Remember back to tbe 1997 grand final or more so the lead up to. Some SA shiw was interviewing a bunch of saints fans at a training session and asked if the crows would beat the saints that gat kid sitting on the fence comes to find. Cant recalll if he told him to **** off or what but just came to mind.

Seems to happen everywhere.

Lookinh at the footage Betts wouldnt of had any idea it happened if it wasnt for social media. Think the banana actually hit Jenkins.

I wonder what the person who filmed it thought?
A) "Oh my GOD!!! That terrible person threw fruit."
B) "You beauty! I caught that on camera! Wait until everyone sees THIS!"

Personally, if I filmed a Sturt supporter doing that, or a supporter of any other club for that matter, I would tell that person I filmed it, then possibly take it to the relevant club if that person's reaction wasn't satisfactory, otherwise I would delete it straight away. The one thing I would not do is put it online. The world has indeed gone mad over this pointless crap.

Good on the Power for being pro-active about it. That was pretty fast IMO.

And yet you posted on here multiple times saying it was just fruit throwing whilst clearly not knowing all of the info...

Good of him to correct his stance after seeing the facts though. Some people out there refuse to change their view for no other reason than it feels good to be right. We can only see if we choose to.
