Just saw the footage of a Brisbane player throwing a great gut punch to a Carlton player. The useless f***ing umpire was 2 metres away & did nothing.

Looking at that it is hard to imagine how Cotchin got off. Zorko deserves his week, the gut punch is such a piss poor act.

One plays for a prominent Victorian team, the other an invisible interstate team.

Agree, it's odd and weird, but funny all the same. Whilst not quite a thing you'd associate with the footy 'characters' of the past, it's shows a bit of personality which modern day footy could sorely use. No wonder Riccuito didn't understand it.

I just hope for the Crows' sake Jenkins didn't eat the ham!

Have you ever seen the spread that the players get afforded pre and post match?

Would have been pretty easy to get one of the support staff to grab a ham sandwich and have on the bench ready to bring out to him.

Tom Porkins? Ham Guthrie? Or Harrison Pigg? Curtly Hampton even? Lots of suspects.

Lucky John Butcher's back in the SANFL or he'd be under the griller too.
