1 home Friday Night & 4 home Saturday night games. Favourable time slots this year. Also have 2 away Fri night games (inc Good Friday) & 1 away Sat night game. So have 8 out of the 21 slotted games so far being night matches, can't really complain about that.
Other Home Slots are:
1 x Sat Arvo
2 x Sat T/Light
1 x Sun Early
1 x Sun T/Light

Home showdown on a Sat night. Double Ups are Richmond, North, Adelaide, Freo & Brisbane. Got the 2 trickier teams out of the bottom 6 slot but otherwise can't really complain! Would have preferred Hawthorn at the G but we normally get a game in Darwin, Tas, Canberra or Ballarat each year so it's expected

May end up with another Sat night game as well going off the below.

Port’s Round 9 match with Gold Coast is subject to a date and time change, pending the need of Marvel Stadium for the A-League grand final. If Marvel Stadium is unavailable, Port’s clash will swap days/times with Essendon v Fremantle.

We play at Adelaide Oval on the 19th of May (Sunday early) in a lackluster Round 9 game against the Suns, and then not again til the 21st of June in Round 14.

Shit, Port could easily be 1-4 then 2-6.

Tassie, China, Bye, Perth....did similar this year, but earlier in the year and I think it contributed in some part to our fade out.

It makes you wonder how they work the fixture out, they must've thought "Oh crap, these teams haven't met yet" Port don't play GWS, Essendon or Sydney until rounds 19, 20 & 21 respectively.

Have we ever not played a WA team in the last round? Possibly Carlton one year when we first played at Adelaide Oval.

The AFL probably just take it off the Saints tab

So Port doesn’t pay anything?

According to Koch port contribute $500k a year to St Kilda.

“If you want to be our partners for a number of years then you’ll wear your away strip”

“it’s not an ultimatum it’s just very clear where were coming from, we’re paying you half a million dollars to buy your home game”

Cool.
Maybe they can pay back the state government the $300k they kicked in for it.
$350k. Let's not be short changed here.

He's in such a state he couldn't even remember how much they've spent.....for the last 2 years, but he wasn't in a flap then. ;)

Yeah what’s $50k when you have fleeced the SANFL, AFL and now the state government as much as you have over the journey!!!

Port Adelaide has nominated Next Generation Academy players Martin Frederick and Kai Pudney.

Frederick could attract a late bid in the draft, Port could only use pick 85 so he could be taken, if not both will join Port as rookies.

Pretty happy with Ports 3 selections tonight , some good young speedy midfielders who use ball well
