Confirmed.

My mail suggested that it was a roll of his good ankle, but turns out he had a stress fracture of his other foot.

With a year to run on his current deal, sensible of the club to put a line through him this year and give him the best chance at a solid pre-season to force his way back into the side in 2019.

Given Hartlett won't be seen until mid year he'll be a chance in early '19.

At least 3 changes for Port :

Out - Johnson, Jonas, Trengove

In - S.Gray, Hombsch and my guess is Lienert will make his AFL debut ahead of Farrell.

Hamish Hartlett starts running again next week, 3 months since his ACL reconstruction.

Amon will be in. He is listed as an out for the Maggies while Lienert is still named. Farrell to be the travelling emergency

I'll be miffed if Amon comes in with what I've seen of him at SANFL level recently.

Same, can only think Ken is worried about pace & replacing Trengove with Amon is more to do with leg speed than anything

Not much, really, I think Hinkley is looking for more pace across the back half perhaps.

Looks like more changes given the Magpies line up.

Out - Johnson, Trengove and Pittard are all named in the Magpies side and Jonas is injured.

In - S.Gray, Hombsch, Lienert, Farrell, Amon one of them the traveling emergency. I'd imagine that may be Farrell.

Appears as though Lienert will make his AFL debut.

Reckon it was the loss Port needed. They've been playing shit last month and winning masks those issues.

Losing doesn’t help with skill level though. That has been Ports problem.
