I understand when the club located him they offered legal advice, which one would assume came from a lawyer. I don't think it was just KT or Davies advising.

Then why not take him straight to the police, or go straight to the police, like he should have?

If this was a regular Joe Blow, we'd all be condemning the bloke for doing a runner and saying what a disgraceful human he is, just as many are with Impey - he just has advisors who can help guide him through the situation and they just made some bad decisions.

It depends DW...
If he was drunk when Port found him, then I think they have done all they can to hide that fact.
If he was sober, then they have made some ridiculous decisions in advising him to front up to the police station so late after the event.

Both are bad decisions. You can't hide the truth in these circumstances - look at the changed facts that have dripped out in the past few days.

Of course they got legal advice, from a person involved with the club. It's bad advice.

My employer would. We have a code of conduct that extends outside of the workplace.

And im sure the AFL clubs would too

Or maybe he was just that ****** up that he passed out and needed to sleep it off.

Chances are that would be the case.

If I walked from Norwood to Grange via a cycling ride at Kilkenny I'd sleep for a week. Actually I'd probably be in a coma in hospital!
