I'm not a Collingwood supporter but that was a great and season defining win by Collingwood. Hats off to Tyson Goldsack....courage personified.

Was it that good a win? It's only Freo. They're not a finals team. They're shit.

Yeah it was a decent win.
Players injured.
Freo drew level in the last qtr and the Pies kicked away with more composure.
Freo may not be a finals team, i would say the same about the Pies.
They showed a lot more grit when it mattered.

Freo lost last week by 100 pts to a team who couldn't even win this week. Hardly a season defining win beating Freo.

Exactly.
But look at where Collingwood are generally.
Take into account the injuries and playing a team away that got belted the week before.
And we have the Crows measure and we are the Pies bitches'

A good result for Collingwood. Away wins are always good. The Melbourne game, especially if you don't have Wells and Elliot would be a bigger scalp. They are strong where you are strong and they generate a lot of run off half back. It will be an interesting clash I think. Freo aren't top eight but the winner of Collingwood v Melbourne might be.

MRP gives Hawkins 1 week for his punch on M.Crouch.

At least Crouch can say he was actually in a contest on Friday night. ;)

Fair call by the MRP, it was stupid seeing as he got a week for the same last year and they said they'd be cracking down on it during the preceding week. At least he gets a game off when we travel to Perth.

Hopefully Kennedy is still out that week as well. Think we could still get up over there if that's the case.
