Taylor walker is gone and Palmer is apparently pretty much there as well.
As for this article with Goddard heading there in 2013. Wee thats very possible.

Not entirely true, he wont be at crows next year but not certain about GWS. He will be going as a last resort. My mail is that Essendon and Carlton have had numerous calls to his agent and both are trying to trade for him. Only if a trade cant be done will he end up at GWS.

Well he is lazy as all shite, so if hes at Essendon then good luck to you, but I wouldnt touch him. Also have fun trading with the crows, they'll expect you to send Jobe Watson over for him!

I think he we end up at Carlton not us. And the Crows wont have much of a say in it, they either trade him or he goes to GWS for nothing. Win/win for Tex

Could turn out ok for the Crows if it turned into a bidding contest, I would expect the Bulldogs and Essendon to also be interested in Walker.

Carlton makes sens. I dont expect Essendon to go that hard fom him really. However Carlton would be keen as he would be a reasonable addition to there side, if they can get him working hard enough. Also if thats the case the the GWS would be a chance of then going for Vince if they wanted him.

Sweet, the legs will be fairly competative then as he'll kick 5 - 6 a game.

Goddard would be a huge blow for the sinking Saints, and a major plus for the young Giants- I mean he could play anywhere...

Fill in the blanks:

Adelaide: Taylor Walker
Brisbane:
Carlton:
Collingwood:
Essendon:
Fremantle: Rhys Palmer
Geelong:
Gold Coast: ??? Do they lose one??
Hawthorn:
Melbourne: Tom Scully
North Melbourne:
Port Adelaide: (One club- they could lose a Magpie... lol)
Richmond:
St Kilda: Brendon Goddard (C)
Sydney:
Western Bulldogs:
West Coast Eagles:

GWS has 2 years to get uncontracted players, so might just have to wait one year. Same for Pendlebury he only signed for 1 year.

This is the interesting thing.

By my reckoning, Geelong, Hawthorn, Collingwood and Carlton (not in that order) are the four best sides in the competition.

Why haven't GWS made someone a high profile target?

We were talking about Gold Coast all year because of the Ablett factor...

GWS are going to get a sporadic spud up forward (Walker), and a midfield kid who's best is a few years away (Scully), when what they really need are ready made, consistently producing AFL players, and it is the top four sides, not the bottom four, where you find that in abundance.

No idea re contracted or not, but I would be throwing dollars at Schoenmakers, Dale Thomas, and Eddie Betts...

From Geelong, I don't know... Vardy, Menzel, and Duncan have been the three new impressive players, and to take one of them from a base wage to one of these ridiculous set-you-up-for-life deals could see them walk... Problem with Geelong for us supporters is a lot of the guys are getting older, and might want one final payday!

Someone explain to me - if i've missed something - why did Melbourne only sign Tom Scully, the number one pick in the 2009 draft, to only a two year contract?!!
