Well your not being a smart ass, what the crows did in 97 / 98, not too many sides have done

my opinion is that Sydney were a better side last year and the crows and Eagles are better prepared this year.....

I also think Sydney will have concerns in the ruck, both Jolly and Chambers will not put the fear in to Biglands, Fraser, Cox, Seeby

Also Micky O'laughlin is not fit, still issues with Davis, my opinion is finals will expose there true 06 form.

time will tell

Yes i agree, time certainly will tell.

I do think though that Jolly has been a revelation this year, one of the most improved players in the competition (37 hit outs v White's 14 on the weekend).

The Swans could be vulnerable with O'Loughlin and Davis, but Burton's likely unavailabilty due to hamstring is a huge blow. McGregor (also Bassett and Biglands with minor injuries) now injured as well, Adelaide's key position stocks could be depleted in the finals. Perrie and Welsh will need to find form soon.

But with all finals series, luck will play a part. An injury to Hall, Judd, Goodwin, Riewoldt/Gehrig or Pavlich in next few weeks could almost single handedly derail their club's finals prospects.

Adelaide will suffer greatly with the loss of Burton for the year, tough to match up on a very unpredictable in what he will deliver.Bassett is a loss, his defensive side can be covered but his run out of defence will be a loss.Stevens is a passenger in a good side and will be found out when push comes to shove.McGregor will be missed,Hart is 30+ with soft tissue problems,Ruccuito is clearly not 100%,the week off will have done him some good,Welsh is a week to week prospect, not sure if his body can stand up to the week to week grind of finals footy.Goodwin looks tired, but as we know is part of the elite and will fire.Adelaide's problem over the next 8 weeks will be kicking enough goals.

Who will kick them? Roo..maybe,Welsh...one of the ? in the front half,Bock...wouldn't think he was capable of a couple of bags,McGregor...got to get fit first,Hentschel....no doubt talented but with some keys missing will now get the best defender, might just battle a bit,Bode....dont rely on him, trust me,Edwards,Goodwin,McLeod will chip in with a couple here and there.Interesting month ahead.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
