Isn't it Fletcher's 400th game this week?

Imagine if he avoided injuries and didn't belt or trip people over, he'd up around the 500 mark.

He has copped 9 weeks in total for trips nowhere near as bad as Fyfe's.
How he would of loved to have the same rules back then, reckon they have it spot on now

In fairness though Jim, he's got away with his fair share over the years with the "clumsy" defense.

Agree with this, Fyfe getting a fine seems about right.

Trips were big in the 90's.

No differant to Fyfe.
Clumsy but not malicious. Trips should never of been a ban in the first place.
Its a joke that Fyfe's trip was actually classed as intentional whilst Lewis and Hodge were classed as careless not intentional

An intentional trip is worse than clouting someone in my book, although I didn't think Fyfe's was intentional.

As For Dustin, one of my favourite all time players and seeing a special on him on Fox really made me admire him even more, he did have some brain farts along the way but I guess it's all a part of being a ranga.

The Lions are considering asking the AFL for a priority pick in this years draft, surely they will be knocked back

Most probably, but nothing ventured nothing gained.

We're going nowhere under Justin Leppitsch. He should be dismissed at the end of the season.

Lol - and get who?
You've got the worst list in the comp.

Carlton would be very close to that crown.

Appointing Leppitsch was a panic move. We 'sacked' Michael Voss thinking we had Paul Roos in the bag as his replacement. When that proved a misjudgment the club, desperate to get someone, took on a favourite son itching for any opportunity that came up.

It was like taking your five-year old Commodore V6 down to a Holden dealership with the intention of trading it in on an exciting new 6.0-litre V8 SS and coming away with a diesel Cruze.

Leppa has been on a hiding to nothing. First a bunch of kids piss off home and then they get more injuries than the Zulu warriors in Zulu Dawn. I can't recall too many matches where he has had a half decent squad it his disposal. Yeah everyone gets injuries but the Brions' injury list has been horrendous.

REB

I'd be off-loading Bewick, Luey, Staker and West straight up, they may get something for Bewick but would be luck to get a bag of skittles for either of the ruckmen.
They potentially have the best on-ball brigade in the game, Martin is the hardest working ruckman in the comp, teamed up with Rocky, Zorko and Beams it is as potent as anyone's.
Their LTI list is savage and has been all season but they do seem a little light on talent around the ground, this is justified by the huge amount of players in the 18 to 22 year old bracket.
Rome wasn't built in a day and they seem on the right track, if Leppa is getting through to the players then I don't think pulling the trigger on him is warranted just yet, we'll have to see if the young list develops over the next couple of years, he was left to pick up the pieces after some horrible recruiting decisions.
