Dogs bottom players are horrible, the injuries may catch up with them, Mcneil, Butler, R.Smith, Garcia and Sweet who are not up to it, then they have a group, Bruce, Duryea and Johannisen who will never do anything against the good teams but look good against the bottom 8.
Obviously their top end is outstanding but its your bottom 5 that wins you flags

Agree, the Bulldogs are missing best 22 players Stefan Martin, Easton Wood, Adam Treloar and Josh Dunkley at the moment through injury so their depth is being tested.
Johannisen was hardly sighted only having 8 disposals while Bruce popped up and kicked two goals in the last quarter, he only had 4 kicks and kicked 3.1. Duryea did an OK job on Pickett keeping him in 11 disposals, 4 marks and 1.1 while Duryea had 15 disposals.

The general consensus amongst most Bomber supporters was bottom 4 certainties and a few of the media experts said wooden spoon. I don’t think anyone could have expected the kids to have made such as a immediate impact and that it would take Rutten at least a year to remove the Worsfold stench
