If you don't finish first, you might as well be last.

We were never a chance to win the premiership anyway.

Whats crap about it.
Only 1 can win the flag, the rest are failures.
And he is probably correct that they were not a real chance.
The top 4 this year are miles ahead of the rest

I want my team to finish as high on the ladder as possible. Anything else is a piss weak approach, IMO.

Improved massively on last year but at the end of the day there is 1 winner and 17 losers

Every team will take it (spin it) differently but yes I do agree. Each year going in, there will be 1 winner and 17 losers. COLD, HARD, FACTS.

Heard from a friend of Didaks family today that he may be at Carlton next year.

Whether this is true or not, I can't see him playing at Collingwood next year.

IMO he's got three more years to get another premiership, then it's time to look elsewhere.

5 years to take a team too a premiership, even when taking over a team ready to win one. Very generous.

They're not easy to win. Has shown he is very good at fast-tracking the rookies and has a lot of promising youth to work with in coming seasons.
