Adelaide Crows 2017

Talk on the national game

Personally don't have an issue with conceding those scores especially when you see the % after 5 rounds. Adelaides reflex handball and short kicking in congestion whilst being under the pump is outstanding right now. It will be interesting to see how they maintain it.

We already know the bloke is a flog but Ben Dixon capped it off last night. He said Adelaide will not lose a game this year on Fox Footy last night. Whilst I wish that would occur he is an attention seeking idiot!

I'm just happy with the 5-0 start.

They remind me of Geelong in the 90's

Geelong 1992. It was a great season and we should have won the premiership that year. Peter Matera had other ideas. Five goals up we were in that Granny. That and 93 were the best chances for that era.

GWS 91 points the highest against them the other 4 in the 80's. I can't see what you're talking about.

When youre dominating as much as the Crows in both general play and on the scoreboard i dont think the opposition should be scoring 80+. They are easy to score against, they just score easier themselves at the moment. That will change as the season wears on

The Port amd the Hawks game were closer games with the crows just getting to 100 and port and the hawks being in the 80's, the others have seen a bit of junk time scoring. With Essendon, the suns an games over by 15 mins into the first.

Hard to judge that until they play some more teams like Geelong, The dogs and a few more teams like Melbourne and St.kilda and god forbid even Richmond.

Adelaide will go 10-0.

Their next test will be the Cats @ SS in Round 11.

Has there been any update on Talia as yet?

He was reaching quite high in the footage I saw. If there is significant damage that high up, that is a lengthy spell.

No. Waiting on scans.
It seemed high up, but he seemed more mobile both during and after the injury. I would think it will be a 3-4 weeker if I was a betting man.

Yeah that would be a good outcome given the location of the tear.

I remember Riewoldt's spell one year where he had a tear high up, and was out for something like 16 weeks.

From AFL.com.au

"Talia was injured in the opening minute of the match and, after being involved in the next passage of play, left the ground and did not return.

As of Monday morning, Talia was yet to undergo scans, but it's understood his injury is to the hamstring muscle, with early indications suggesting he's suffered a relatively minor strain."

I reckon you're right, JK.

I get nervous for any player with hamstring strains/tears that are quite high because of that Riewoldt injury.

Hopefully for Talia's sake, it's just a minor strain.

Reiwoldt was in way more agony than Talia tough. I remember Reiwoldt needing to be helped from the ground?

3 days since the game and still no news on Tahlia, if it was a 3-4 weeker we would know by now.

Who have the Crows got to bring into the team? Beech was the only one I saw thats ready to come up from the SANFL, depth is going to become a real issue if you look at the current SANFL side

Kelly and Jenkins should both be available. Richmond don't have a lot of talls up forward

Otten will move down back and Jenkins will come back in to the forward line
But you're right, we are thin after that.
