I agree with Booney. Was depth - good depth - but depth nonetheless.

If he feels he can get more opportunity at St Kilda and the clubs can work out a fair trade, then I am all for it. Would like a second rounder though.

Fair play, didn't think you would like him to go as he is one of your "talls"

Port will need the youngsters to step up as a lot of depth players have moved on

Yup, a bad run with injuries would expose a soft underbelly for sure.

Agree, we cop a cutla injuries and we're thin

But we were anyway and I have more faith in the next crop than the left over fringes from the Primus era.

With 3 coming into the best 22 that nudges 3 out of the side adding to the depth. The one's who were the "depth" sunk deeper with the 3 trade/FA arrivals.

Best 22 looks decent but your depth looks worse and was already not great.

Will have to hope your best players stay on the park, particularly in the mids and down back

Haha whoops, I meant to write Howard not Houston

I considered Dixon, but thought they might've left him forward, but then again more I think about it, plenty of coverage for him if needed now Watts has arrived.

Yep, Dixon could move up the ground with Watts into the forward half and Howard could go forward with Marshall as well.

Boon might be in the know here, but I am led to believe we are paying a part of his salary.

Any word as to whether Melbourne are paying for a portion of Watts'?
