They shoot people for fun so I'd do almost* anything they say.

So they should on both occasions, Voss made high contact with Petty's head, it was unwarranted and against Petty's wishes, if Petty had of cracked him in retaliation he would've got games.

I don't appreciate people getting in my personal space so I don't get in their's as the outcome is going to be one way or the other.

As for the Keays thing, quite harmless but where does it stop? Use it as an example and call a 50m in future if the player is throwing out the instructions, wasn't a great look and opens the door for worse in the future if not addressed.

Allow taunting. Allow 3 seconds to retaliate without consequences.

Let's see who still does it.

In the example we are using here I’d more than bet that Petty would be missing 8-10 with a broken jaw. Patty Voss is an absolute nutter who can can handle himself very well.
But yes there are many serial pests that would run away if someone came back at them

AFL look like tinkering with draft rules again as early as this year.
Clubs holding picks 1-5 would receive and extra end of first round pick if their pick moves due to a bid.
With Cochrane and Walker set to go 1 and 2 it pretty much guarantees that those with a pick in the top 5 this year would receive an extra comp pick

Most pests in the AFL over recent times I think could hold themselves pretty well in a one on one battle.

Would love to see Voss get rid of the dickhead element of his game, the lad can play and is hard as a cats head.

I'd give every club (1) free rort that can be used on a academy rort or f/s selection outside the draft

then its a clean draft from there, Eagles pick 1 can pick whoever is left over, no matching bids, you get your one free rort, use it wisely.

Overtime I think it would even out

Agreed. Every club should have an academy or nominated academy players of local players and including f/s of which they get to automatically draft one into their squad. All other players become free game in the draft. Might dilute the draft a little (18 of the better players already removed) but at least we get a proper draft without clubs needing points to match bids
