On the passing of Mr Pratt, Carlton has officially announced that Stephen Kernahan is the President.

A sad time for the Carlton Footy club, but IMO, a good choice for the Pres. Well done Sticks.

Take the club forward in the direction that Pratty steered it.

Congrats to Chris Yarran leading into his first game for the mighty Blues. Hope he goes well. Stay away from the punching bag Chris
Some interesting omissions with Hoops out and Carlos also gone. Thought they'd been qiute serviceable. Bentley had a shocker last week and deserved his omission.
No win situation for me this week as my wife is a Dorkers supporter. Looks like another comfy night on the couch for me, win, lose or draw  .

Carlton are as up and down as any other team in the comp, which allows me to keep a lid firmly on aspirations for September. After these last few rounds, that lid is still firmly clamped.

Having said that, this weekend's match at the GC is an either / or ... Fremantle are one of bogie sides: we haven't done well against them forever, but then we've been crap these last few years

A finish in the 8 would be nice for a change ... it might still happen
But yes, it was a pretty pointless comment wasn't it?!

In fairness to Fevola, HE didn't know he was married either.

Next thing she'll be telling us that she didn't know that Michael Clarke was in an 8 year relationship at the time that she 'snaffled' him

.......back onto Carlton football though, did anyone notice how Darren Pfeiffer's shoulder injury went from being about a 6 week injury 5 or 6 weeks ago to the 8 weeks it currently stands at? Apparently himself and another person who was briefly at Norwood in the SANFL were out - Pfeiffer wasn't drinking - minding their own business when some bloke, his girlfriend and a few of this bloke's mates walked in and the bird happened to mention that she went out with Pfeiffer 5 years ago so this bloke decided that he'd smack Pfeiffer out for having the 'audacity' to go out with his girlfriend 5 years ago, hence the injury time for shoulder increasing.

Unbelievable..........

You would think so but for some groups in our community something silly and small like that is all that it takes.

Wasn't saying that they canned him because as far as I'm aware he's still on their rookie list.

Just looked at the programming and the Blues aren't on Fox or FTA tonight because the Port game is on both.

Got rid of Fox last year coz of that exact reason. Not that it's Fox's fault, they're only a bit player in the whole deal I think.
Got Fox back on this year though coz watching the games at the pub was costing me a fortune. Cheaper to have Fox.
BETTER SORT THAT OUT IN THE NEXT BROACAST DEAL

The Blues, much like the Power, are up and down like a yo-yo at this point in time.

When will they find a run? who knows.

BTW, I will now say our slogan, they know we're coming, is about 2 years premature. I know I defended it earlier in the year, but now I think it should be changed to, We think we're getting there, slowly.

They have medication now for that premature coming.
It's all the SANFL's fault.
