REB, Carlton aren't contenders for another 2/3 years at best. Our backline is young. Our centreline is led by the eldery Judd at 25, and our one dimensional forward line now has scope to be reworked and remodelled. I'm looking forward too it.

And in better news, the Cloke has been given the arse !! Hooray !! 8)

If Cloke got the Dagger then that IS a step forward for the Blues. The question has to be asked, did the Blues 'overachieve' (assuming you think such a concept is valid of course) in 2009? I wrote during the year that Fev might be the problem...I guess we'll soon find out.

No we finished where I expected. What we did see was how one dimensional a team like Carlton was.

Will be good to see what the next year brings.

Agreed. Any team that can't finish above the greenest Richmond outfit I have ever seen in 2010 should take Gold Coast's spot in the VFL in 2011 to retain an even amount of teams in the comp.

au contriare my fine fellows Barto has kicked a sausage roll with that fine effort. And to think that the Blues were in with a sniff of victory that night against the Saints before Ashley Judd got his schnoz realigned.

New game new era?
Have NM given footy the flick and are going to try soccer or something?

PS Geelong's has been boring as batshit for the last couple of years: "Footy Full On" (yawn)

How about 'we win flags now' or 'Geelong three years - Hawthorn three weeks'?

:)

Ours should be "Just like 08" :P

Officially it is "Hawks United - All for One, One For All 2010".

Dull, but at least not LOL worthy.

I do like the "We win flags now" moniker REB. Gold.

Gossipgirl you are getting pretty loud about a harmless thread, are you KG in disguise?
