Was thinking the same.
Did he have an effective disposal today?
If we wasnt crapping himself and pulling out of contests he was giving the ball back to Cows players

Great too see Shents prove a few quick to criticise SAFooty posters wrong. 22 disposals and 8 marks in his third game showed he has the ability to make it at this level given the oppurtunity. I guess it's not too hard for any key board muppet to write anyone's name on this thread but none the less its nice to see quite a few of you get it wrong

Yeah he was okay this arvo. Did some nice things across half back and will keep his spot.

He looked composed and backed himself in to break the lines a few times. Hopefully they persevere with him even if he has a bad game.

Apart from the Freo game, probably a fair call.
If he lights up in the second half of the season though, he could be the difference between us making the top four and not .

Top four  Please let's keep it serious. Just over a week ago you got spanked by ten goals at home by Gold Coast. There is at least 6 better teams than the Roos and that's not even counting the Suns.

For what it's worth I reckon Petrie is alright but coming towards the end.

We're also the only team to beat Port, we beat Freo in Perth & knocked off Sydney at the SCG, our best is right up there.
If you read the post, I did use words such as "if" and "could".
Have North been costing you money on the punt again wristy  ?

Problem is mate North still have that issue where they can beat anyone anywhere and the back it up with horrific losses.

North also only have 3 more games against top 8 teams (geelong x 2 and hawthorn) the crows twice and west coast away being the hardest of the other remaining

I think they are every chance to finish on 16 wins which could be a top 4 finish.

Haha lesson learnt there mate. They actually haven't been to bad in that respect. I think it's more consistency. I do have them finishing 8th based on the lack of consistency but admit I haven't really looked at their draw. 15 wins probably won't be enough to go top 4. I just reckon Port, Hawks, Geelong and Sydney along with Freeo and Colloingwood will all finish above them

Geelong and Hawthorn looking very wobbly. Roos not too far off it.

Even a diehard Geelong fan like me looks at Friday nights game thinking the Cats could get done. Results since 2011 have been 50/50 although North have won twice at Etihad and Geelong have won once there and once at Simmonds where this game is being played. North is the original Friday night team and always seem to perform well for these matches and the icing on the cake is no Stevie J. Cats will struggle IMO

Yes buy it doesn't matter who North play. You could beat those top 8 teams which you just might and then drop one of the "easier" games.
