If the crows were travelling like Carlton then their crowds would be down too. And I dare say the full house down the road would've been more appealing. You shouldn't compare a 2 team town with a 9 team town either.

When was the last time he crows got less than 30000?

And the fact that there is 9 teams is irrelevant when they have at least 110000 members between them but only a quarter of them rock up

Carlton's home game at Etihad. As the away side Hawks members are allocated 10-12,000 seats for their 17 game members only. Members are not going to shell out extra to go to an away game especially when they are about $30 a head for even crap seats. The MCG tennants supporters hate Etihad and wont go there as a rule. Crowd was still 70/30 Hawthorn last night

fair point. Would still think that any game in melbourne between two big clubs getting less than 35000 is a massive disappointment

If Hawthorn or Carlton were one of the only 2 teams in Melbourne I'm pretty sure there would of been a larger crowd last night.

I agree. Dont forget supporters get to see 17-18 games a year in Melbourne so fans can be a little more choosey with what games they attend. In the other states you know you only play home every second week so its more of an event

Yeah that's a fair point. If I had a 17 game membership and I wanted to take a week off that would be it, especially considering it would have been mayhem in Melbourne with 100k at the G, and probably a fair few there that would have gone to Etihad normally.

Not the result you would want as a member and supporter but pretty sure North won't be featuring much in September either

But the Roos have more hope of September action before carlton

Not in dispute but ultimately they won't be there at the end either

If Crows don't get Jenkins on Dixon now, Crows will lose this game.

Ridiculous free gifts Dixon a goal just on 3 qtr time. Back to 9 points even though the crows are playing better
