Eagles clearly didn't give a shit about the result. Move on....

Was about to post the same thing about Cockatoo.

Cockatoo is still going to be a gun. As is Lever.

Daniel Talia signs for 5 years extending his contract until 2021.
Great signing by the club!

Should be Adelaide's top paid player IMO. You've got a genuine gun to build your defence around for the next 8-10 years. Perhaps your next captain?

Only 24, plenty of really good footy ahead of him.

I've heard him speak and briefly met him before I he seems like a more behind the scenes type of guy rather than captain.
I think he needs to back up a few AA's before you go putting him on top of the pay roll...

He's the player you can least afford to lose IMO, as such he should be the one you do the most to keep.

Adelaide's key backs are thin, besides Talia.

Moot point anyway if he's signed on. Who knows, he might be in 2-3 years when Betts is on the other side of 30 and with no Dangerfield around.

In fairness though the crows should be around this mark. I think its almost back to normal for them which based on the additional monies going out they have done well and seem well placed off field for the future.

Any idiot should be able to make a profit for Adelaide. Would be one of the easiest clubs in the comp to run. The move to AO should mean they should not lose money again atleast in the near future
