Three from one club and none being in their best 22 would be a little unique

My mail is Lorenz for Dixon or Ratugolea.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I've seen that rumor a couple of times on social media this morning - but mainly shared by massive nuffy crows fans so haven't trusted it!

it keeps circulating though.

Port could be at full strength tonight and would still struggle. It's the game plan and inability to shift it which doesn't stand up in Finals.

So Port has a bunch of Geelongs old players and now they are using Geelongs go-to pre game coaching move, the old "late out".

That's what I got out of the game.
They wanted the corridor but Geelong stacked it and Port couldn't or wouldn't go to plan b.
Or was there no plan b to go to?

I reckon Rozee will play back.
Lorenz will come in (should be a grandfather/grandson rule) for Rata.
Butters wont play, Mcentee in

Any chance Visenti comes in for Dixon?

None of it will matter, Hawks have been the best defence in the comp since r8, its all been tried before to stretch us, doesnt work, Bulldogs have tried it twice in that time, Kens not the quickest learner. Ill be slightly worried if Dixon and Rata are late withdrawals.
Do port have anyone that can 2nd ruck vs Nash instead of playing Dixon?

Most interesting watch for me is the new style of footy V the old style of footy tonight.

When Hawks get stuck in slow play in defence, they refuse to kick long down the line, they will hit the tough aggressive kick top open up the field or switch the ball to open up holes, the only chance Port have is to make these plays turnovers and get them out of shape.

The inside kick and paint the fence has been around for 10 years. We were teaching that with Bays 18s under Zooma in 2016!

Where Hawthorn are different is that they just do it instinctively to open up the outside lanes to attack.

It’s high risk high reward footy.

It’s why if The Port mids are prepared to work to apply defensive pressure there is an opportunity for them tonight.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Walking around the city today I reckon for every Port supporter I’ve seen two Hawthorn.

Appreciate it’s a work day so most Port supporters are probably working (no jokes please) but it seems it’s not going to be a normal home game support tonight.
