smashed by the swans, just fell over the line against the hawks when they were up by roughly 10 goals. not very convincing against the cows and getting beat by an average eagles side (i don't care what the ladder says, they aren't that good)
No, not yet, but a couple of trends are concerning.
Our midfield is in and out of games, while Boak and Ebert have been very consistent, the likes of Hartlett, Broadbent, Polec ( inj ), Wingard have been far too inconsistent, not just over the season but from quarter to quarter.
There's a blue print to beating any side, it's how effective you are at executing that plan. As we've seen this year, Hawthorn, Sydney and Port have all been beaten by sides who simply outplayed them. So while I'm not thrilled at 3-3, I'm not shattered. We're getting worked out and I'm backing the coaching staff to counter that over the coming weeks.
One thing West Coast have is a solid midfield, don't view their side as shite over all, their mids smashed us yesterday and are capable.
As for Kane Mitchell, I question his place too. Sure he can run, sure he can create space but his use of the ball is not up to AFL standard IMO.
Young, Moore, Ah Chee should all play ahead of him IMO.
I think Impey will come in next week to release Broadbent onto the ball more, perhaps Wines back in and Moore for Mitchell.
PAFC. Forever.
LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!
