Kurt Tippett's playing future?

Talk on the national game

Relating to Tippett, how about this:
Adelaide do not organise a suitable trade.
Tippett enters the pre-season draft with a nominated salary of $1M, and is passed over until Sydney's first draft pick.

Further, Adelaide loses all draft picks for the draft due to a dodgy 2009 deal. :D

If they don't do a deal and he goes into the pre season draft then the crows did nothing wrong, no draft tampering, so shouldn't loose any picks or get fined.

Thats what I was thinking, If it wasnt in his contract and they dont follow through with it then can they still be in strife? The whole thing is dumb and confusing, I dont even want to see Tippett out of the game, he was dumb, his management were dumb and so were the Crows! Interested to see what comes of it all but really over the whole trade period, way too long and drawn out!

Heads should roll over this (but they won't)

Getting uglier by the day, Trigg should resign over this disgrace.

Unless of course Tippett fully cooperates with the afl investigation, but then again why would he when Adelaide have handled him leaving so well.

Some would argue by offering the condition back in 2009, they used an unfair advantage to retain him then, and therefore require punishment anyway.

Sydney should be entitled to a first round compensation pick if Adelaide and Tippett are found guilty and Tippett is deregistered.

I reckon the Cats should get finals at Cat Park for this..or something even more unlikely -like a WA team being forced to play at Geelong.
