He is betted on himself to score multiple goals in a game so it is a form of match fixing IMO. It does make you wonder about some of these “sitters” that players miss

If he'd bet the under on himself or teammates for goals / possessions, I'd agree its a problem and I'd support a bigger wack.
So was the rumour that it was a syndicate member that placed the bets correct? Or have we confirmed these were his bets?
