Dal Santo is an outside mid. His numbers have been impacted in recent seasons by the absence of Ball and the decrease in output of an ageing Lenny Hayes. He started to get a bit more ball when Steven started to tick over but North have done well to get Nicky Dal.

Dislike! It's going to be very hard to watch Chappy running around in that shit jumper. :(

I'm sure Melbourne supporters feel the same way about Rivers. ;-)

Chappy was finished before this season. Essendon or anyone would be fools to go near him, won't be on the park.

The same bloke that was best on ground in his last game for the Cats?
If managed correctly I think we can get 15-16 games per year out of him, in the mess we are in the risk is worth it

Get him on the anti-ageing drug like Dustin and you could sign him to a Franklin type deal

Its worked out on a complicated formula and then Andy D looks over it and if you are one of his golden clubs you get looked after with a good pick

Essendon will be waiting awhile for a hand up then.

I was told by REB I was clueless when I said he was gone at the start of this season, how many games did he manage?

Not saying he can't still play, but he just looks shot and there's no value in picking up these old blokes looking for a couple more years of good coin before they enter the real world, or get coaching gigs...

Jed Lamb has apparently quit Sydney and is GWS bound.

Handy pick up by GWS. Played some good footy this year. Hopefully Sydney can get a pick for him. GWS are going to have a handy side next year.

Hope Jesse White goes alright for you Q. Can be a very exciting player.

I probably wasn't that clear in my original post but I meant someone that gets plenty of the ball, not an inside mid. Agree with you.

I remember there being pretty big wraps on him, but I guess it's pretty hard to break into the best midfield in the comp

Not much to live up to.
Having said that, I reckon he goes alright.

Tippett and Franklin won't beat too many teams on their own.
Mumford, White, Lamb, Everitt and Armstrong all gone or going, Kennedy and Hanneberry out next year, can the last one to leave turn out the lights :D
Must be a great culture up there, 5 blokes cant get out of there quick enough and 2 selfish mercenaries coming in.
Not sure what the new ass coach can teach Tippett and Franklin, certainly not how to kick or make good decisions
