Hawthorn hopes so.
I say no to drugs, but they don’t listen.

What's so bad about the jpod

One of last years best performers poor bloke had to hav spine surgery

Clarkson wouldn't ignore the fact he's out there, the hawks would hav to pay him close attention because he can be a menace if allowed to roam

Old, cumbersome and slow.
Just my thoughts from watching him in the SANFL the other week.

Well done, Adelaide.
Great signing of Sloane - he's the one you want at the club. Dangerfield will be a bonus if you can keep him.

Sloane was a good start. I didn't think he was the risk of jumping ship.

You know he is a good bloke when nobody has a bad word to say about him, including port supporters :)

Douglas pens a three year deal the same as Sloane. Ties him until the end of 2018.

Its good to have Douglas locked in now. Its also good to have players signing on rather than all leaving, hopefully that means the club has turned the corner with it's set up off the field as much as on the field.

Am I the only one who thinks it would strange to have signings announced on Monday and Tuesday before a game on Thursday without an additional announcement on Wednesday? ;)

If not it seems odd that they announced two in two days?

Week off would have just given them time to work on such things.

And announcing them separately as opposed to together just keeps them in the media for two days instead of one.

My point is more that if there were only two announcements you'd spread them out over the three days.

My bet is that there's a third coming ;)

I'd have thought if Danger had been signed, they'd do the presser with he and Sloane together. The Damaging Duo re-signed.
There might be another, but unsure if it's Danger.

There isn't any really big names that they would bother to announce separately imo. Tex, Danger, Sloane, Douglas and to a lesser extent Mackay were the big ones to sign. Unless I too am forgetting someone...

Port did a signings campaign last year or at some stage, a week of signatures or sum shit, and each player got their day in the limelight (or teal light)

And leading up to a Thursday night game would give a massive buzz around the club, sadly I can't see another announcement till years end and I'm not confident we will like it. Would be interesting to see Danger come out and say now he is leaving at years end, someone someday will do it during the season and break the mould IMO. I think if he wants to go and it's to Geelong, the club won't stand in his way and he would play out the year professionally IMO.
