Ease up, Jim, the Essendon drugs bandwagon hasn't entirely moved on, you can't be throwing too many stones yet ;)

Is pick 28 from this years draft the most traded pick in history? I think it's up to it's 6th club now. Would be funny if Geelong end up with it again...

Brisbane need the 2016 picks for their academy kids. Hence that third rounder became part of the Bastinac deal.

North give up Bastinac, 34, 38, 40 & 53 and a specy third rounder from '16 and get back 17, 26, 28 & 47
So the improve their draft position in every position and give up Bastinac and future 3rd rounder to do it.

In the end we probably paid overs to get the Aish deal done. Two second rounders given away, then downgraded two more picks. But pretty stoked to have the young lad in the B&W next year.

Carlton making a late play for Tomlinson.
GWS trying frantically to get more points as they are still short for their academy picks

But that shouldnt matter. For the last month all we have heard was that Yarran is worth pick 12 and that he was contracted and you would make him stay if you didnt get it. Then with 20 minutes to go you sign off on 19

So Carlton have traded out Menzel and Yarran, lost Henderson and last year lost Waite, the year before Betts.

Here's the Carlton list management team leader :
