They traded their 1st and 2nd round 2023 picks, but they have North's 2023 2nd rounder they got in the trades early last week.

So you can trade your own but not others you acquire?

As long as you have one, it seems.

Good deal for us. He is no star but we need a bigger body in our midfield mix and a future 4th is a nothing pick.
Pick 68 we get back will help with the Davey twins bid or the Munkara bid

That's like borrowing $20 off of a mate to lend him $20.

Bargain for Essendon

Played some decent games for Carlton but is prone to brain farts.

Port have 8, 33, 43, 53, 57, 60

If we bundle 43 (378), 53 (233) and 57 (182) - 793 points, trade that to Brisbane for next years 2nd rounder - pick 26 is 729 points, pick 33 is 563, you'd think Brisbane finish top 8 - they upgrade their points for this years f/son, we get a 2nd rounder in 2023 we can trade.

For some reason it irks me when clubs say "welcome home" to players that have never played for them before. I get they are coming back to their birth state, but stop it.

Grundy is going to the Dees for next to nothing. Great work to get a pretty penny for Jackson and bring in Grundy for a packet of chips

Mega deal back on and in front of AFL for approval. North Melbourne, GWS Giants, Port Adelaide and West Coast involved.

Assuming it gets green light, Horne-Francis and Rioli will get to Port, GWS pick one, WC 8 and 12, North 2, 3 and F1, then bunch of other convoluted pick swaps

So Port give up 8 and future 1st + picks

West Coast turn 2 and Rioli into 8 and 12

GWS give up some of 3,12,15,18,19 for 1

North get 2,3 and Port's future 1st

Shrapnel all around it.
