The two most obvious images. Still, pretty accurate though. Cliches for a reason.

Might be a timely week off for Rioli (assuming the tribunal is consistent) given his history and where he's come from. A nice recovery week followed by the bye gives him two to freshen up, ready fort eh alst half of the season.

Not saying he did anything malicious to razor but the issue of a umpire contact is a touchy subject in the AFL ATM....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Pretty happy how the swans are tracking at the moment. Especially our young lads.

Saying that I’ll probably eat my words this week when we some how lose to Carlton

Lost by 23 points ( Port ), 10 ( Adelaide ) and 2 ( North ). Very consistent in their efforts and will be there at the pointy end.

Boring as batshit like the coach, but there nonetheless.

Deledio gone again for potentially 10 weeks with that calf. Really feel for him the way his last 2 years of his career have panned out.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

I mean rightly so, but jeez Adelaide took a belting in the premiership markets too by the looks. and everyone seems to be jumping on Melbourne.

I'm not writing Adelaide off and Melbourne, whilst impressive, haven't won me over just yet. Long way to go in this race, you don't want to be going flat out in May and that sort of looks how Melbourne are going, West Coast a bit the same.

Will be interesting to see how Melbourne / West Coast look compared to Adelaide / Richmond / Sydney in the last week of season proper.

the big problem for the crows now is the massive hit to the percentage.

could mean the difference between 4th and 5th, or 6th and 7th, which would be huge come finals time. Thats if we make it.

Sydney playing the season as good as anyone so far, haven't played their best footy but still winning, they are timing their run perfectly IMO. $7 good value. They have lost a few at home but importantly they are winning away whih is a great sign.

Cows great value at 11’s.

They’ll beat the hapless Giants this week then beat Freo who couldn’t beat themselves! Then the bye get a few back and they’ll be back in to 7’s.

And if it fails well then crows don’t win the flag. It’s win/win

Richmond still very handy, Melbourne haven’t totally won me over yet, West Coast can’t win at the G, Geelong not for mine, Sydney are a good threat in my book players who know how to win and the Roos pffft please.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

It’s a fair point - richmond are probably the only team that doesn’t have a question mark over it (with west coast rapidly erasing theirs)

Crows only value if you take the $11 and hope they shorten to then lay off. Im not sure they are that certain to beat the Dockers....

Lock in Richmond v sydney

I agree....west coast struggle at the G
Melbourne are on the improve....but a premiership?
Roos......almost a lock to be in the prelim with a soft draw.....but will they be overwhelmed???
Geelong....making up the numbers

I can't see how the Crows can make the finals, just don't think they can cover their injuries (as listed, they've had a habit of increasing this season).

On top of last season:

In : Gibbs, Gibson, inconsistent kids
Out: Smith, B Crouch, Sloane, Walker, McGovern, Lever

They might get Brown and Seedsman back this week, and whilst not inpossible, I just struggle to see how they can make anything of this season. There's contract talks, plus speculation over internal rifts, the pre-season camp and the fitness regime. Looking like a horror season for them, so if they can go deep into the season again somehow, would be some sort of achievement.

I dont see how West Coast dont make the GF with a top 2 finish. Now that their home ground is the same size as the MCG it will give them that physcological edge to beat their demons on the last day of the year. West Coast to beat Richmond for the Cousins cup
Dont write off the Pies, they could take a prelim spot too along withMelbourne or Sydney

Adelaide, Port, Geelong, Roos. One misses the 8 rest are making up the numbers
