I hate Port but no excuses needed for Boak. Great player clearly injured but still putting in 100% on gameday

My daughter has this at the moment and can vouch that it is a subtle injury that causes pain but not enough that you think it's broken. Don't you think we felt great taking her to hospital 4 days after it happened

Yeah my lad fractured his playing cricket the week before finals a few years back, had to wear a cast for 6 weeks and then he did it again playing footy shortly afterwards. Can take awhile to heal as it doesn't get good blood supply apparently

Im leading anywhere with this question and I think Hinkley is the right man for the job, but what Ken's winning percentage as Port coach?

My observations of Ken are that he is an emotive and philosophical coach rather than a tactical one? He needs around him the tactical heads to complement his style, ie a Walsh and Richardson. I don’t think you get the same from Voss, maybe from Bassett but he is new to the club and structure.

Serious question, are the players too comfortable at Port?
Hinkley backs his players to the hilt and if i recall nobody has ever been dropped apart from the fringe players that are continually recycled. Think Broadbent was dropped for a game last year but didnt play SANFL and came straight back in the week after.
Im not saying anyone should be dropped now as its very hard to do when you constantly have guys missing with injury

This will make it very hard for him to be moved on if the situation requires it in the end

41 wins, 29 losses, 0 draws.

Agreed, the consecutive losses of Richardson at the end of '13 and Walsh at the end of '14 has certainly impacted on the acumen within the coaches box at Alberton.

This year Hocking came back into the AFL set up to replace Tyson Edwards, Mathew Nicks went from forward line to back line coach and Bassett came into the mix.

So we have Voss - Midfield Manager, Hocking - Midfield Coach, Mathew Nicks - Assistant coach, defence, Nathan Bassett - Assistant Coach, defence and Shaun Hart as director.
