Is Sanderson deluded?

I heard that he rated his list the same as Ports on 5AA tonight. What is he smoking? :weedman:

Did porps get dropped from the sanfl team? Wouldn't be surprised if it's a johncock situation and he retires this week. Was piss poor against the bays

Dangerfield will be wearing Hoops one day and you know it.

Quite possibly. But it would be under FA and would you have the cap space to get him over.

Anyway I digress.

Come on valleys, not even close to a sledge, just stating a fact mate. Nothing to do with North.

Absolutely a fact mate- also a fact that north fans are no way in a position to poke fun at port supporters holding the high moral ground over crows fans because of their past history, when north themselves attract poor crowd numbers.

Play on.

Never poked fun, I'll state again I was only pointing out a fact. If I was really going to poke fun that would be foolish knowing we at North don't draw crowds either.

Plenty of room in the Cats' cap I would have thought, Veterans list would take care of a few and the younger generation haven't justified the coin just yet. Paddy wants to come home. All we need to do is keep making the top four while the Crows keep failing.

just googled, there is still a veteran allowance, for people that have played more than 10 years at the club, but it is nowhere near like the 50% like it used to be

People crap on about father son selections when dicussing Geelong but the Veterans list was far more important when it comes to our ability to have sustained success. At least our COLA still has some bubbles left.

well the two greatest players to play for your club in the past 20 years, and your best forward all came from the father son rule. so dont pretend it didnt help you.

but i do agree that geelong have managed their list extremely well

the fact that the crows havent had a single father son selection shows the rules were extremely skewed though.

There was a hard cutoff at 1990 which mean there was going to be a gap of 20 years effectively. The fact that bryce gibbs missed out on a father son selection was also pretty terrible.

collingwood, essendon, and the bulldogs have also done very well out of their father son selections.

anyway thats beside the point.

lets get back to talking about how bad the crows are now :(

Crows shot themselves in the foot with the Gibbs father/son didn't they? Had input into the rule and both them and the AFL agreed to them.

The wankers forgot that the SANFL state games were counted in the total. The AFL then took them out and Gibbs didn't qualify....
