No. I did read a column that suggested people should look for a life if they are having trouble getting onto Trade Radio. 8)

What's the go with Motlop?
Wants to be traded to WA to be closer to son - fair enough.
But no WA club interested, so he's still going to leave but go to Melbourne...
Strange.

The deal also means Adelaide will bow out of the race for Carlton utility Andrew Walker, who had also expressed interest in joining the club.

I always fall short talking about who got a "better deal" when it's picks for players.

Who knows?

The Crows give up (effectively) a pick at the start of the second round, and a third round pick (ALWAYS hit and miss). They get a player who was rated extremely high as a junior, taken pick 4 who has a lot of upside and room to move IMO.

I think he's been victim of circumstance - being taken before Buddy, being at a club which hasn't been successful, much maligned by his own supporters, that has to weight somewhat on output and performance.

He's not South Australian and he REQUESTED the Crows as his destination. Sure, he probably wouldn't have had many suitors past a handful - but - he wants to cross the border and get away from Melbourne, Richmond, the media, the supporters and do what he always could do but hasn't yet.

To be honest, we got him at a good time, the best time. Early 20s, had what was probably his best year, just lost McLeod so some run is good. We have traded for worse players that have turned out to be far better players.

Richmond get some picks - and until we see what they get and how they go - who knows who the winner is.

But to be honest, both clubs come out of it well.

Great post Dissedent =D> best post on this topic

Im happy with the Tambling deal. Pick 27 and 50 for a type of player we need (pace and skillful) with their best footy ahead of them.... He has a point to prove and reckon he is worth the minimal risk.

We already have a young squad with up and coming talent and with the tampered draft we had to get a player to suit our deficiencies. Tambling is that, Jacobs hopefully will be the other.

Tambling is a great pick up for the crows

Plenty of examples of players going to new club and playing a lot better for that club than the original

at age 24 he is an ideal pickup and will slot straight in

has pace and is very skillful

not many players have improved at Richmond over the last 15 years!

Collingwood after Tarrant... :?

Whos spot is he going to take? They have plenty of young good defenders.

Maybe he will be a good addition for Williamstown 8)
