They along with the other clubs voted them in and were very much across what would be occurring when those sides came into the competition, if they so badly wanted Davis all they had to do was extend his contract which the club chose not to do. Still, the club were also well aware that a bitter feud was running between Edwards and McLeoud and again chose to simply bury their heads in the sand and do nothing over it, so its hardly a new precedent from the management of the club...
