He is according to the pre-season fitness testing the 2nd or 3rd fittest aerobically at the crows! He should be back asap - but can anyone tell me how his form with North has been?!

Not getting a kick at North ATM.

Not dominating at North, but he's not the type of player who's gonna take 20 marks & get 35 kicks either.
He'd make the transition up to AFL no worries, & with better delivery, would play accordingly.

Id take cox* anyday...

as for the Roos - before the weekend won 5 of their last 7 and the premierships favourites coudlnt get rid of the depleted roos until after halfway trhu the last 1/4 on their home deck (that incidently the crows lost on by 82 poiints a fortnight ago!)

There is one common denominator with all ugly games recently - THE CROWS

they flood flood flood and because the less skilled teams (yes the roos) cant adapt to it the game becomes ugly...tell me one game this year that has been a good game of footy that the crows have been incolved in

the reason why is the roos play15 players behind the ball, then rebound with no one to kick too boring negative chocking footy, for 3 1/4 then try and then have a crack at the opposition in the last

the junk yard dog coaches as he played, negative and boring

the AFL should of terminated the Roo's 10 years ago

Not embarrassed, yes best team in the comp on field, but off field a disaster, lowest membership and supporter base in the league, sponsorship deals worth half the amount of other clubs, training facilities an absolute joke considering it is the highest level of football in the land and a continue reliance on the AFL for handouts....

Given that in the 90's you had the best player in the league and the most successful side, where are you positioned in the commercial market, your not even on the radar.....

Footy is a business, it's just as much about corporate and market success as it is about on field success, just take a look at American sporting franchises, the success of a sporting franchise is based on more then a win / loss ration.

The Roo's have not been able to turn on field success in to off field security and success, they have not been able to use the on field success to market themselves or position themselves strongly in a competitve market, membership numbers, club revenue, corporate market share in terms of $$$, crowd attendence all are indications of a struggling club, even in times of on field success

This LAD who Has a MBA in Business Mgt is not embarrassed

Pfft, Dutchy its my CLUB and my PASSSION, It is THE Footy club for all South Australains.

talk to the people who work there and are associated with it and the word franchise doesn't even enter into the vernacular.

SD you should know better the only nuff nuff who calls the Adelaide Footy club a franchise is Rucci, as a none-to-subtle sledge against a footy club that has 50 000 members.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Sorry boys I hate the term franchise it is a sterile American term that doesn't reflect the culture that footy clubs are built on,
play on and lets get back to talking trades...

Coach: G Cornes (Glenelg)
Captain: C McDermott (Glenelg)
Club Doctor: T Jacques (Glenelg)
Water boy:? (Glenelg)

The Prosecution rests, your Honour....

& to keep the post on track, I'd trade Glenelg to the Middle East for a bag of rice
