Doesn't matter now. Eagles go 4-4.

Barry's mark will always be the greatest for me. Malceski's goal last year will always be the greatest.

Only saw the last 10 minutes and yes some hometown decisions got the eagles the win at the end. AFL umpiring is ruining the game although the umpiring in tonight's West v Port match wasn't much better

Totally agree. Its a pathetic game AFL is turning into with all these pissy airy fairy free kicks being given.

I didn't care who won. Just sick of umpires missing obvious frees and then picking airy fairy frees out of the blue. They need to learn the word CONSISTENCY !

They have been paying those frees all year. West coast kick straight, they win by 5 goals.

And now fox footy will spend the rest of the week picking out 50/50 umpiring decisions.

The last minute wasn't the problem. North Melbourne suffered from inept decision making well before that. I don't like blaming umpires and i don't like either side but quite honestly that was terrible. My personal favourite was when Thomas gets the free 35 directly out in front yet advantage given to the bloke that didn't want it on the boundary. Close second the clear mark that Black took in the last, 20 out directly in front that was apparently touched. It wasn't biased umpiring it was just unlucky for North that on a night when the umpires made some bad errors most of those cost them.

How can they get better at something they cant control...

Fair enough, they didnt have the best game. But they were still up until the umpires butted in with some terrible decisions.

And fair enough someone shouldve competed better against Nic Nat. But if it wasnt for the bad head high decision, the ball wouldnt have even been heading that direction.
