Silvagni took a classic grab around 1990, I reckon it may have been against Collingwood.

3x leading goal kicker and 444 goals in 279 games, i'm sure there are plenty with much better records than that

Jezza was a superstar
He would have kicked more goals , but played a fair bit of football up the ground
He deserves to be in the team of the century
Perhaps the most unbelievably skilled player in his era
I never saw John Coleman play , but he must have been good to get a gig in front of Peter Hudson and Tony Lockett
I never saw Dick Reynolds play, but he must have been good to get a gig in front of Daryl Baldock and Gary Ablett senior
Of the ORIGINAL team of the Century players I have seen I would rate them in this order [from about 1970-2000]
1 Leigh Matthews
2 Alex Jezzzzzzzzzalenko
3 Ian Stewart
TONY LOCKETT
BOTH ABLETTS
4 Bob Skilton
5 Royce Hart
6 Keith Greig
9 John Nicholls
10 Bruce Doull
11 Stephen Silvagni
12 Francis Bourke
