Round 11 - a short one

Port's inability to hit a target coming out of defence killed them aswell as almost every time it happened it resulted in a Geelong goal. The Cats handled what looked to be some dewy/slippery conditions alot better than Port. And Enright just did what he wanted across halfback

Seems like everyone is sinking the boot in. Only saw about half the game but I didn't think port were that bad. Thought the young Geelong kids played well.

Or is it just the realisation that port may not be able to get back to the heights of last year?

Great by Buddy to get back to help the midfield with the game in the balance, and McVeigh, always cool as a cucumber

Being the clearly better team for 3 quarters means sweet FA if your kicking for goal is shit - which cost us the game in the end.
As for the Goodes decision- even he was laughing, Richo commentating said it was the worst call of the year, but the one where he pushed Macmillan out of the marking contest when the ball wasn't even within 10m & got away with it - it simply leaves you shaking your head.

Was a gd decision. Don't get sucked into BT and richo shit.

Swallow had the ball. Runs into Goodes. Swallow grabs Goodes leg and tries to tie it up.

If he wanted to release the ball he could have simply let go of Goodes leg.

Have a look where the ball was, what Goodes was doing to the ball & how much prior opportunity Swallow had.

Nothing to do with BT, In normal time didn't look like any prior had occurred, im sure I'll see it again and happy to concede if otherwise.

Just on BT, he wouldn't stop crapping on at one stage about how North had worked the ball out of defence, then one of their players passed it backward instead of forward when it was pretty easy to see they had not much in front to kick it to. Can't stand his commentary.
