What category does Lever, Cameron, Keath and McGovern fall into?

Throw in Bock, Davis, Ellis-Yoleman, Greenwood, etc etc etc x4

I think they fit into the “I think I’m worth more than you’re offering me” category, some each way IMO. Cameron and Davis hurt, the others not so sure.

That culture wasn't making it hard to leave, it was making it easier. They hurt alright.

What I mean is that most have not filled the potential to the level we all thought they would

    McGovern and Lever especially

Cameron has far exceeded my expectations

CEY and Greenwood had their chance and didn’t cement their spots

I’m actually not too upset that he wants out as we are a rabble but I can’t wish him well at that mob. The list needs to be burnt to the ground so good time to start.
Frees up a ton of cap space and will get us a pick in the late teens to start the rebuild

Does Zac Williams need to be traded to Carlton?

    Free agent I think.
Over $1.5m a year on a couple of half bank flankers is serious coin but if you have to pay the full cap it doesn’t matter

Wasn’t sure/couldn’t find if he was a restricted or unrestricted free agent

So he's left Gold Coast to go to Essendon for more money, now he's left Essendon to go to Carlton for more money. The blokes manager is an absolute genius. Keeps getting him more money and making sure he never works in September!*

Allegedly the Carlton offer was pretty much identical to what Essendon had offered, he just wants out of the club.

Think the offers are pretty close but maybe a year longer at Carlton.
Had a bit of a falling out with a few players and coaches over his role and what it would look like going forward. We aren’t going to have any success before his career ends so a good time to part company

Yep, doesn't have to be the end of the world for the Bombers (albeit I still think you have more talent on your list than most seem to believe). Media reporting he wants a free-running less accountable role as he doesn't like the defending so much. How dare a club expect a defender to actually defend in this day and age

There were times where we needed him to play a lockdown role and he spat the chewy. At his exit meeting he wanted a guarantee that he would be the loose defender and could use his pace to rebound. Just not prudent of us to spend $600-700k on a loose defender when we have far greater needs

That was his request. Hated being used occasionally in a lock down role which meant other players sometimes had to sacrifice their game to cover for him

Was under the impression Saad was a free agent, don't want him if he costs pick 7 as rumoured.

He did finish 4th in Essendooms bnf

“Paid” pick 21 so should be “sold” for around that

Not a free agent, he is just uncontracted which means he has to be traded for.
Won’t be pick 7 IMO, I think you will send pick 7 to someone like Geelong for a couple of picks in the teens and then flip one of those to us. Worth a pick in the teens IMO
