In breaking news ASADA has announced that according to them AOD was perfectly legal last year and told Essendon it was safe to use. Essendon players will not receive infringement notices.
Andy D will be on the show soon but the media are already doing backflips

I thought you would have a massive fat over Gerard's comments Jim ;)

Not until Andy D clears us.
He can still whack us hard with the old "bringing the game into disrepute" charge

And so he should

Thats where it could get ugly in court.
If the players were taking a legal drug then what is the issue?
We may cop a fine but cant see us losing points

WADA said it was illegal and they are overseeing this whole process. Until we hear an official announcement at a press conference everything is speculation.

Not surprisingly the AFL doesn't rate a mention here in the London media, refreshing not to have to hear Dimwitriou blather on, so will have to rely on you lot to fill me in with what happens on 360.

I think my question is, if ASADA knew it was perfectly legal then what the **** has everyone been investigating for the last x amount of months?

Because as Turbo says WADA still consider it banned.
Seems as though ASADA has given out the wrong information so its up to WADA and ASADA to fight amongst themselves.

Perhaps the drug was not on the banned list at the start of Essendons program.

If the drug was then made illegal at some stage throughout the program they should still be hit and hit hard.

Massive case of neglect if they take the stance that things changed and they chose to do nothing about it, or worse claim not to have known about the changes.

But, Booney...things can change, can't they? Just because something's in place, doesn't mean it can't change and we can't all live happily with it. Essendon just pre-empted the change.

Well, 3 years passed and things changed. Things change over 3 years, it's quite a long time.

Not comparing apples with apples there though, are you? You mischievous individual. :D

Comparing the legality or otherwise of a drug with that of a football clubs stance on it's surplus players best development path and you're just shit stirring. ;) And you know it.
