Finals Week 1

Talk on the national game

Surely the AFL's goal when pricing tickets is to fill the place. Even though I think 41k is disappointing, the prices probably go most of the way to explaining it

And if you could pick your finals opponents from here, GWS and Richmond are about as good as it gets.

Shit. Cant see jobless Port fans being able to afford that.

That's the extreme though.
GA started from $60 wasn't it?

GA was $35. Which was hill only, usually for crows games the top of the riverbank is also GA

I paid $35 for an assigned seat just behind the GWS cheer squad (all 30 of them). Shit view and as a neutral I was bored shitless.

$35 isn't ridiculous given it's a final, but I would want a better view to pay that again for that game. (Although as a Swans fan I would be happy to pay double to hopefully see the lads knock off the Crows in two weeks!)

Really really tough for families to go though when prices are north of $50. I think the AFL and club administrators need to remember what the average person gets paid.

Well over 200k for the four finals, can't see the AFL putting prices down!

$35 is good value then given it was a final.

I didn't really want to be there - a couple of friends convinced me to go - but I guess if I were a Crows/Giants fan then $35 might have been OK. Shite view though.

I think those prices are very reasonable compared to other entertainment ticket prices.

If the Crows or Tigers are in it I should be able to get $1000 each for them hopefully

I was happy to pay $92 for red seats on wing in front row. Maybe not $184 for same seat in prelim. Will look at a lower category.

Your constant disrespect to Richmond may come back & bite you in the arse.

Yep because me saying they are shit is going to make the crows lose to them...

I don't rate them at all. Geelong Sydney and GWS are much tougher prospects

Absolutely, it's why I've been saying for a long time it's a disadvantage to come top. 2nd is the best spot for most teams unless you're Geelong where 3rd is better if teams get to play Geelong at their home ground.

Or if North, Essendon, St.Kilda & Western Bulldogs had to ever play a home final away from Etihad.
