Except some of the drivel on this thread doesn't pass as "discussion".

Maybe the Wines/Jonas narrative isn't as clear cut as the media has made it out to be.

What if the club is legitimately taking it's time with the decision, taking into consideration a bolter who has the respect and admiration of the group within the 4 walls, who mightn't be thought of as leadership material by the externals?

They have been together, living out of each others pockets 6 days a week since late October, they know who their Captain is. If they don't there are more problems that many suspect at Alberton.

Have the Hawks named their captain, @Dutchy?

No idea but if they haven't Im of the same opinion, no reason to leave it so long

Anyone heading to Pirie on Saturday? I got an email from club yesterday saying it was nearly sold out.
I won’t be making the trip north given its going to be 40 degrees at the start of play.

I'll catch the replay on Fox.

Will head to Alberton for JLT2. We should get a firm indication as to what our R1 side will look like then.

Crazy to be playing there this time of year. No good can come from this exercise.

40°+ is not the time to be playing practice matches.

Can’t agree more Boon. Madness and not good for spectators

If they need to play it why not start it at 6pm in the twilight when there is likely to be a little bit of the sting out of the heat at least.
