Boomer Harvey’s son - was pretty quiet but that was a classy mark.

Was a great game of footy to watch, enjoyed it, could have gone either way.

Bailey Humphrey was #20.

Probably a top 15 pick.

Cheers DOC, I was watching with volume down so didn't catch names.

I'd be very surprised if Collingwood buckled on any of it.

This bloke happens to play well just when he's due to re-sign and then he goes and **** it all up until he is due to re-sign again and all is forgiven. If I was Collingwood, I'd be telling him to piss off.

Degoey is just looking for clarity.
I don't think he's going anywhere unless collingwood says zero tolerance on anything.
Things out of his control, like being out with mates that get into a blue and he has no involvement would need more defined terms.
Anything major, like pissed driving would still be a see you later.

The USA incident was a major f*** up, the Bali one wasn't great but there's been far worse, he was on break, he wasn't arrested, he didn't punch anyone, get caught with drugs or piss in his own mouth, he is always going to live on the wild side and fraught with danger, just like Dusty and Swanny did.

Four people have been arrested by Victoria Police over a 2022 Brownlow Medal betting scandal.

The Herald Sun reports that an AFL umpire is now under scrutiny.

The award was won by Carlton’s Patrick Cripps on September 18 with 29 votes in a count that came down to the final game of the season.

The Victoria Police Sporting Integrity Intelligence Unit’s investigation into the matter relates to the release of voting tallies for the Brownlow. It’s not yet clear how many matches had votes released or the size of bets placed, with Police saying they are now investigating.

Warrants were on Monday carried out in Glenroy, Kilsyth, Oak Park, Drouin, Craigieburn and Doreen, with several mobile phones and electronic items seized.

In a statement, Victoria Police said: “It’s alleged that a person with knowledge of the voting tally of these matches distributed the information to a group of people known to them.

“At this stage, police have no information to suggest that the outcome of the votes were impacted as the allegations relate solely to the distribution of information.”

The AFL is also understood to be running the investigation, as well as Sports Integrity Australia.

Commander Deb Robertson from Victoria Police’s Intelligence and Covert Support Command acknowledged the AFL’s role in the investigation.

“Victorians are well known for their love of AFL and in particular, the prestigious Brownlow Medal award, but equally they want to know that there is integrity, fairness and honesty behind this award,” she said.

“We have been working with the AFL and Sport Integrity Australian in relation to these matters, and we will continue to work together to target, disrupt and apprehend people who commit these offences.

“The public assistance is a really key part – we know there are people out there involved in sport who see or hear things they know are not right and we need them to speak up.”

Betting for the Brownlow should cease at the end of the day that the last minor round game is played.

You'd suspect that at least 20-30 at a bare minimum would know the outcome before the event

How dumb is the alleged umpire. You have to register your details with the AFL integrity unit database each season. Would be fairly easy to track once the betting agency realised there was something fishy.
