We'll show you why.

If you can keep him fit he’ll be a handy small forward
No superstar but will kick 30-40 goals

Durdin has never kicked more than 15 goals in a season

Not sure how he’s getting to 30

I get that BUT you had him on a multi year contract with four still to go.

He is a better player than McKay.

I agree. But we wouldn't be having this conversation if he wanted to stay.

Lack of quality back up rucks around currently

Goldy is a fair bit better than Cox, even at this stage of his career. Plus, his coaching of the young blokes puts him head and shoulders ahead of the other two.

But Cox is a better CHF than Goldy.

I know but if we let everyone go that wants too we may have to forfeit most weeks
I was ok with letting Curnow go due to the compensation we got but we got bugger all for Durdin

Hopefully Motlop and Moir can stand up in 2026 coz we certainly need them both(different players I know)

I don't disagree with anything you're saying and I think we should've kept Curnow and played him the two's till he stopped sooking.

Durdin hasn't shown much but then neither has Motlop, although he has been able to venture into the midfield.

If you've got top 15 picks, yes. Sharp, Schubert, Marsh and Cumming all top 20 bound where Port didn't have any capital.

Unless we wanted to trade up / in then we're not in that market. We've been very clear about the 2024 draft and then what we aim to gather in 2026 and 2027.

Never played a full season

Fair but hes never even got close to a 30-goal season is the point.

Hes played over 60 games in the last 4 years and averages 0.75 goals a game.

His best season Played 21 games in 2022 and kicked 15 goals.

Played 16 last season and kicked 14 goals
Franky Evans played 10 games and kicked 13 goals in the same season

Durdin will be lucky to kick 20 goals in a season let alone 3 iMHO
