Agreed, even if found not guilty im not entirely happy with some of the things that went on at the club.
Dank and Robinson were known to have baggage yet we still bought them in to the club.

Not according to a Bomber supporting mate of mine. According to him, the only people to bring the game in to disrepute during this are the media.

Yeah its funny how their supporters have well and truely got their head in the sand on this and the golden haired boy Jimmy Hird wouldnt do anything wrong

Na most of us realise there are some irregularities.
But the media have taken it too far
Id suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle
Only a week until ASADA hand down their findings

One thing I dont understand is how if the players are all looking at 2 year bans why are they all sticking up for Hird?
Surely the players would try to cover their own arses before Hird's.

What's to say they haven't dropped him right in it with their ASADA interviews?

A player would have to stick up for him in front of the cameras if he wanted to play regularly I would have thought. They're not going to come out and say, "Yeah we were doing dodgy stuff and Hirdy was the main man" while Hird is still picking the team.

However if their interview with ASADA allow them to confidentially tell exactly what happened, which in turn allows them to reduce their punishment then you don't reckon they will spill their guts???

The whole club is sticking up for Hird.

You wonder at what point that strategy does Essendon FC more harm that good and what it says about where the Hird camp rank saving him compared to saving the club.

Ben cousins missed a year of footy for bringing the game into disrepute, surely the bombers players + club have done that a hell of a lot worse

So how many more lies did Robinson spin last night?
Vic police have today released a statement saying that Hird's house was never raided and that Robinson's story is false.
Robinson is also the guy who tricked Nathan Bock into taking a steroid, more will come of this later.
Doesnt appear to have a lot of creditability, he was paid $120k for last nights interview and he claims no one from the club has spoken to him since he was suspended with full pay. Yet he refused to be interviewed for the Switkowski report when he had his chance to say his piece

I thought Robinson said his house was raided by Federal Police? I'm probably wrong there so just wanting to clarify..

Yes Robinson said Hird's house was raided by the AFP, the AFP have totally refuted that claim

I thought that Robinson said that Hird told him that his house was raided by the AFP as a result of his association with Shane Charters.

Jim its called preseason and Ben was just getting his sweat on ;)

Seriously its a hard one because the players have not caused the issue but under ASADA rules they are in trouble. But the AFL would have no beef with the players. If found guilty then the coaching staff and management are what the AFL will have a crack at.

Hearing alot of rumours about finals and possible sacntions, but like anything its all speculation at the moment.

Charters was PT to approx 50 AFL players at different stages, Hird was one of these. Not sure beyond that.

Looks like the ship's going down but there's not enough life rafts ... and Hird's not going to give his up

I don't understand how like stan said. Cousins works extra hard in off season and cops it
Hard run and swim combo.

Bombers cheat and take the easy option

You never saw cousins putting anything into his..............

Actually. Never mind.
