AFL 2006 Under Threat

Postby SBR » Tue Nov 01, 2005 6:35 pm

According to an inside source, the 2006 AFL season could be “a bit of a fizzer” if:

the anti-terrorist laws take out the Bombers
the IR laws exclude the Dockers
and avian flu gets the Crows, Swans, Eagles, Hawks and Magpies.

In addition, under the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act, both the Demons and the Saints could also be in trouble.

The World Wildlife Fund apparently plans to object to the Lions and Tigers,
and given energy problems in South Australia in recent years, the Power could also be on the way out.

With greater awareness of mental health problems, the Blues will have to go.

The Bulldogs are under considerable public scrutiny due to concerns about violent dog breeds.

Which leaves a considerable loss of football sides, just Geelong and the Kangaroos are clear of trouble.

Then it's Cats for the flag as we beat those gits by 14 Goals last time we met LOL.

Yeah I got email almost same but a few changes:

Prior Notice

It is likely that the AFL competition for 2006 will have to be

cancelled.

Under the new Anti Terrorism Laws the Bombers are banned, the new

Industrial Relations legislation rules out the Dockers and the Asian flu

epidemic is wreaking havoc with the Crows, Eagles, Hawks, Magpies and

Swans.

Any transfers to the Kangaroos, Cats, Lions, Dogs and Tigers must now be

quarantined for at least 12 months. Religious vilification laws mean

that no one can legally barrack for the Demons or the Saints.

This only leaves the Power and the Blues who no one wants to barrack for

anyway.
